Anthony McCall’s work lies between the cinema, sculpture and drawing. In 1973 he presented “Line Describing a Cone”, which was the starting point for the series of three-dimensional installations, “Solid-light” - animated light projections that acquire a volumetric dimension through the emission of fog in space. McCall also won a prominent place in the English cinematographic avant-garde scene with the production of films based on minimal perfomances done in open-air England.
